Our Origin Story
The Brownstone Track Club was founded in 2025 in Portland, Connecticut. Our mission is to foster a supportive community for athletes of varying ages to enhance their skills both on the track and in the field.

Coach Brown's expertise lives in the throwing circle. While at Xavier High School ('96), he won multiple State Open Championships in the shot put, hammer and discus throw. As a thrower at Purdue University ('01), he won six Big Ten Championships, was a three time All-American, and competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials in the hammer throw

As a thrower at Purdue University ('01), he won six Big Ten Championships, was a three time All-American, and competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials in the hammer throw event. Post collegiately he is active at the Master's level, and is a member of the Middletown, CT Athletic Hall of Fame. He also enjoys coaching coaching at the High School and Middle School levels.
